"We had drinks only on the way of our bicycle round trip. The lunch section is seperated on the terasse. It seems to be a family owned location and the chief is greeting everyone in person. That was really nice. Nothing for low budget travelers."

"Absolute hidden gem on the shaws of lake Annecy the food was amazing we had lunch here the portions were impressive and the food quality was second to none I can’t recommend this place enough!! Forgot to say the staff were Lovelly as we can’t speak much french and they spoke enough English to customise my son’s burger!!"

"Stopped here for lunch and what a fantastic decision that was. We were welcomed by the waitress and shown to a table with a fabulous view. We ordered a beer to cool down with and a little water. The menu is varied and we chose the Lobster Roll, which was delicious, congratulations to the chef. A glass of white wine, a coffee and liquor completed our perfect lunch. Is it expensive - yes Is it good value - yes As an Englishman I have a fairly poor vocabulary of French, we tried and our efforts were clearly appreciated. One more thing, the view is unbeatable and you must experience this for yourself. Highly recommended and 5 stars is the only option here. Finally, some of the negative reviews on here are hilarious and not in any way representative of our experience."

"The food is amazing—OMG, we love it! We came all the way from Thailand and ordered 3 main dishes, and every single one was delicious. It’s right by the lake. Too bad the weather isn’t great today, but I can imagine it must be amazing in the summer."

"This was our best meal during our two week stay around the area. The quality is exceptional- fresh, supreme quality produce sourced locally and cooked beautifully. The host is passionate and helpful (despite our v limited French). He recommended the mussels and fish sharing dish from Mont Saint Michel - he was right, it was exceptional, and came with a delicious black risotto. The vegetable sharing plate was great too, as was the burrata and burger. The view of the lake is as good as it gets. Everything perfect! The prices are higher than average but quality this good is worth it. Don’t hesitate."

"We arrived early, after our son's bike ride around the lake, and had a coffee. Then after a refreshing lake swim right across the road, we sat down for an unforgettable meal at La Cuillère à Omble. Dining here is not just a meal, it's an experience. The specialties come right out of the lake, everything lovingly prepared by chef Patjelo Agosto. I had the super fresh and flavorful filet de perch, accompanied by baby potatoes garnished with croutons and capers, it was amazing. My mate had a beautiful seafood salad, our friends had burger and fish, all delicious. They have an excellent wine list, colorful cocktails, appetizers, desserts, everything is well prepared and presented. To complete the ambiance, the terrace overlooks the turquoise Lac d'Annecy. This is a special restaurant for special occasions. Highly recommended!"
